Recently I went to the annual ISMRM and ISMRT conference in Toronto to run our Calpendo booth in the exhibition hall. It was a fantastic chance to meet a number of our current customers who use Calpendo as well as some potentially new customers.
I lost track of the number of people who walked past saying ‘Oh I use Calpendo!’ but for those who stopped to chat thank you very much. For those who I spoke to for the first time in person after meeting online for ages it was great to finally put faces to names and to find out how Calpendo is going for you at your facility.
It was also fantastic to meet some potentially new customers from the USA, Spain, Korea, Austria and the UK itself. If it means flying a good chunk of the way round the world to meet potential customers from the UK we are happy to do it!
I certainly enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the latest requirements those in the MR sector are interested in for their facility management software. Certainly direct scanner integration through DICOM and greater integration with patient systems for clinical bookings were two topics which came up a lot.
The conference itself was as always fantastically organised and in a great location. I mean having it next to the Rogers Centre during baseball season was perfect!
Instead of a photo of me at the booth I will leave you with a photo of me and Mr Moose in the lobby of the conference centre. He was a good moose.
